DIPA is an abbreviation of Diagnostic Imaging Practices Australia and much easier to say. Portals often have short names such as Google, Yahoo!, Bing, eBay, Gumtree and Seek. These names are easy to remember and helps by increasing online user ship and brand recognition. For this reason we refer to ourselves as DIPA.
DIPA supports the Australian radiology community by providing a central employment hub for both job seekers and employers to use.

DIPA supports the medical imaging community by providing direct communication between job seekers and radiology providers. Recruitment agencies are not permitted to advertise jobs anywhere on the employment portal as they are a third-party supplier. It is not beneficial for a job seeker to apply for employment with a recruitment fee attached to their application, nor is it beneficial for an employer to pay a recruitment fee for a successful introduction.

Publishing accurate and concise information for job seekers is of paramount importance and ensures the relevance of search results and a positive user experience.
Radiology practices are displayed alphabetically for all location based searches and are split into two categories for the benefit of job seekers. Practice Profiles are displayed first due to their employment related content and Location Listings are displayed second due to their having only their name, address and telephone details.
The DIPA employment portal has been purposely built for a medical imaging audience and specifically targets both Passive Candidates (75% of the candidate pool) and Active Candidates (25% of the candidate pool.)
Location Listings are displayed to job seekers for all relevant Employment Location, Practice Name, Radiology Group, Medical Centre and Hospital searches and consist of the following content.

Job Advertisements: (from Feb 2017)

Job Advertisements will appear on the DIPA employment portal from mid March 2017. They are placed within the relevant Practice Profile for the employer who also has the option of placing them in a Private Advertisers section if required.
A initial set-up cost of $89.00 + GST per Practice Profile is required to be paid by radiology providers partnering with DIPA before 16th December 2016.

Partner With DIPA

Australian radiology providers are currently being contacted in relation to partnering with DIPA prior to the official launch in March 2017. Radiology providers may initiate contact with DIPA, however we will ensure to contact you in plenty of time.
Radiology Groups with multiple practices are not required to have each of their practices partner with DIPA. All practices that agree to partner with the employment portal before the 19th August 2016 (Offer Close date) receive free, ongoing job advertising as part of their partnership. Non-participating practices included on the employment portal at a later date will be required to pay the set rate at that time for their Practice Profiles and Job Advertisements.
Radiology providers who Partner with DIPA are provided with 12 months unlimited access to the employment portal. Towards the end of this term, radiology providers will be contacted again in relation to renewing their partnership with DIPA for the following year.
Radiology providers are each asked to contribute towards the annual costs of hosting and managing DIPA. For further details about our pricing policy please email DIPA using the Contact Us page.
